WORLD ASSOCIATION OF KICKBOXING ORGANISATIONS

WAKO is the only truly international World Kickboxing, with over eighty nations in five continents in membership.

World Championships take place every two years, with the intervening year being the Continental (European in our case) Championships.

WAKO GB covers England, Scotland & Wales. Selections for the British Team are influenced by the results of regional and National Championships.

Every Club must produce a written curriculum submitted with application. This must show progression through learning grades culminating in the DAN or equivalent teaching grades.

Approved teachers control their own gradings. Grading certificates are available from WAKO GB.

New applicant teachers must submit all relevant Qualifications and proof of training experience. Any teacher may be assessed when requested by (WAKO GB).
